Customize dress

Since you don’t have your dress yet, find a local seamstress that excels in dress design. Have your dress made exactly the way you want. Since you get to pick the fabric and design, you can control the budget.

The cost to add on color to a white dress isn’t going to be cheap, you’re not having it tacked on, you want it to flow with the dress. The cost of this could outweigh the cost of your dress.

Second idea was Alfred Angelo but the company went out of business! Not too many options for your colors, custom might be your best bet. I think you absolutely could have a custom dress in your budget if it wasn’t covered in bling.

I think you have a couple options for the dress you want. You could easily find this dress from a sample shop or another bride for maybe $400 max, or you could probably easily have it made. The dress shape isn’t complicated, it’s not overly ornate with lace or tons of beading. I think you could have it made for under $1000 for sure.

What size are you? My dress is ivory and burgundy that I decided not to wear. I bought a new dress. I am plus size, my dress does fit small. If you are interested I can get a pic of it.

Yeah sizing can be funky. I wear a 14/16 shirt, 18/20 bottom and 24 shorts, my burgundy dress is a 24 and my new dress is an 18...so that kinda give an idea as to how sizes are. I found a pic of the front of it but I will have to take a pic of the back, I found a few online its very similar to the one with t he corset above that the burgundy goes around the train, but it has a zipper and faux buttons down the back, no red going down back of dress just around the top and the bottom. It has a sweetheart top and is strapless. I have taken the dress to my mothers for storage but if you think that you may or may not be interested I can always go get it and take a pic.

The ivory is pretty, but if you have white in mind it does clash. But its a beautiful dress, I'm very disappointed I can't wear it, my boobs are just too big for it.

You will find one that suits you, I was going to say if it would fit you, I'd give it to you. I understand completely about the ivory, I wanted ivory bc of my skin tone. White was too white on me. Try going to vintage boutiques or consignment shops. Mines never been worn and I'm about to sell it to one. I have also seen mine online and in different sizes and colors. Heck even eBay you may luck out. Mine was from 2007.

Please do not order from AliExpress. They are a cheap Chinese knock off company that is known for clothes that do not look anything like the pics and are made with cheap materials. I know the pics are mostly inspiration but just a heads up.
