Custom Rubber Stamp Save the Dates/Invites

Molly, on August 16, 2017 at 4:12 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 17

I recently came across custom rubber stamps for invitations or save the dates. I was curious if anyone else went this route? The custom invite-sized stamp is between $50-75. I thought the stamped look would look more custom than just printing on paper.

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

Edit: not address stamps but one for the actual invitation with the date etc.

I just bought a custom stamp on Zazzle for like $12. I'm not exactly sure if I'll use it for my invites, but it was cheap, and if all else fails I can still use it in the future.

No experience with it but I think it sounds like a great idea! I'm going to look for a stamp under $20 though, based on what PP said.

Op are you talking about a stamp with invitation information that you'll apply to card stock or a return address stamp?

I got a self-inking stamp from Etsy! We got to pick our font and style and whatnot. I think it cost us around $20-30.

I decided on wraparound labels since they look more elegant and no one will judge me for not handwriting them lol. Avery 22838

Use groupon there is like ten different groupons for return address custom stamps. Most are under $20.

ETA: if your talking the whole std I've never seen that before. It would look pretty cool.

I got a self-inking stamp from Amazon for $17 on Prime. 10/10 would recommend. We wanted one that we could reuse after the wedding and "The Rs" doesn't apply quite yet (1 month!) and I didn't want it to have just my name. We chose this one because it says just the singular last name and makes sense now, as I moved into his house.

I got a rubber stamp (NOT self-inking) and was planning on using it for STDs and invitations. I did it on STD's and it was a pain in the ass so I got a separate self-inking stamp for our invitations. Worked great. Got both from Etsy.

I think that stamp for the invites would be cool as long as it's legible when it's stamped..
