Custom Guest Address Labels

I’m planning on printing addresses on the envelopes by putting them through my printer with a larger piece of paper. A friend of mine just did this and they turned out really well!

There are a few options on Etsy to send your guest list to the seller to print for you. However, I think no matter what, you have to use their Excel sheet formatting, so you may have to update your list to fit their format. Included some links below.

I used minted! I typed everyone’s addresses in. They also give you an option to upload. Once you upload all of your addresses in it saves in the system and then it will automatically print for any of your labels on your invitations or save the dates etc. It has been such a timesaver for me.

Get help from other people (bridesmaids, fiance, moms, siblings) to address envelopes. They really should be handwritten for formality sake and to avoid a) getting lost because the ink on labels smears and b) getting tossed accidentally mistaken for mass mailing advertising.

View Quoted Comment When you make an account in minted you select my account > address assistant > once you’re in there it gives you the option to add in your addresses. Once they’re all added in, It saves and then as you create your save the dates and your invitations etc. it gives you the options while you’re creating thoseTo add your addresses.

I’m also using Minted and it has an address app which is pretty handy for collecting contact info! I haven’t tried it yet but I’m pretty sure the app feeds into the website so when you go to print your envelopes, it has them ready I’m hand-addressing save the dates because I already had a ton of envelopes and I designed and printed the save the dates through Canva instead of minted to save a little money, but I will absolutely be having minted print addresses for both formal invites and thank you cards!

Ok I must be missing it. I don’t see address labels 🏷 on minted. Invitations and save the dates but not labels. Am I over looking it?

I would also highly recommend Minted! We used Minted for save the dates and it saved SO much time not needing to hand-write anything out. It was super easy: we already had an Excel list of our guests' addresses, we imported it into Minted and took advantage of the free address-printing, then we also got the return address labels (in sticker form). All we had to do was stick the address labels onto the envelopes and there was no writing involved. I also found Minted to be high quality as well!

So it’s not actual print out labels, it just saves all the addresses and puts it on any of the envelopes that will go with your save the dates or invitations, place cards, thank yous etc. so if you were referring to just the addresses with labels themselves, then I’m not sure if it has that feature. But as you select your save the dates in there and invitations etc. it shows you all the different options and how your guests addresses will print on each envelope. If that makes sense

Oh shoot, I think the free address printing only works if you get the save the dates directly from Minted

In this case, my advice would be to go to your local Staples or Office Depot to have the addresses printed directly on the envelopes!

I would just go buy some clear Avery address labels. You can print these at home if you have a printer or know someone. You use their website and import the guest list.
