I’ve got 2 different projects going, but this one is about as done as it’s getting right now. Since I’m not a fan of icing and my FH is diabetic and doesn’t eat a lot of sweets anyway, we’re having a friend make her amazing pound cakes. So I made this cake stand from Dollar Tree finds (spray paint and hot glue from Walmart). I haven’t glued anything yet to help with storage, but the candlesticks will only be glued to the upper plate so we can set it over the cake. The plan is 2 cakes here and a traditional Korean wedding couple figurines as our “cake topper”. My FH is half Korean and asked if we could incorporate them in our wedding somehow. The picture is just a photo I found online. He hasn’t found the ones we want yet.
