I had a nightmare last night that my wedding was nothing like i imagined - in a bad way. i worry that i hype it up too much and it wont live up to expectation

When I was wedding planning I think my biggest fear was that there were gonna be unexpected guests like uninvited guests because in my culture that happens a lot, people just completely don’t care about RSVP and stuff

I've been having nightmares where I get to the wedding walk down the aisle and we get to the I do's and he walks away. I woke up and hit my fiance. I was so mad at him. Now it's become a fear of mine. I know he won't do that to me, but it's just in the back of my mind now.

Mine was that my mother would be absolutely awful. (We have a very bad relationship.)

In the end, she didn't come, so it was smooth sailing.

Married fear or wedding fear?

As of in marriage, is when he crosses my limit. Those are 1st cheating (in any form, even a serious online flirt), smoking, drugs, alcohol addiction. I can not and I will not accept those. So when one of them are crossed, I will not giving him a second chance ever. That means a divorce 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s just me.

View Quoted Comment Lol. I was actually speaking to my FH about that yesterday. Sometimes, my father will just show up unannounced and spend some time with us. He didn’t understand it, I had to tell him he’s lucky we don’t live close to my other family members or it would happen much more frequently. It’s so common in my culture for family/friends to just show up and spend they day with you and I honestly miss it. As far as the wedding goes I can totally see an uncle or cousin just showing up and saying “don’t worry I’ll sit at the bar, I don’t need a seat” 😩

I personally get nervous with people looking at me. Like large crowds and I break out in hives. I did in my friends wedding and at my college graduation party oh and my house warming party . I really wanted a small wedding and my fiancé wanted the big one so here we are with 278 guest... in legit more nervous that all these people are looking at me... we are doing a first look to calm my nerves down. Lol

The wedding? Covid ruining it for a 2nd time.
The marriage? Nothing.

At my wedding there thank goodness were only two unexpected guests but they were kids and they were luckily seated at a table where there was 9/10 - so the unexpected child was the 10th seat and that was just very fortunate aha.

Wedding fear - nobody will show up because of Covid and my FH will back out
Marriage fear - it won’t be what I expected. I’ve never lived with a man before, I’ve always lived at home and not by choice. To expensive to live on my own. My fear of not knowing how to handle living with a man and being a wife.

Things costing too much. We're all about budgeting.

View Quoted Comment Ooh I totally understand this I set a 10,000 budget ( I'm definitely not spending that much) as I'm looking at stuff I realize I'm definitely going to be doing a little thrift store, diy and etc. So thinking about just that makes me feel like I can't pull this off.

Like a sound a person a thought anything to keep you from thinking of the crowd Im shy also I hate attention I don't like being put on spot light.
