Cups sewn in? I’m skeptical

I’ve attached pics of the dress I’m thinking about purchasing. Here’s my problem! COMPLETE open back. I’ve lost 125 lbs and my boobs will not stay up by themselves. Boob tape is an option but one I’d really rather avoid (it’s very hard to apply and hurts to remove). Will sewing cups in really work? I’m not exaggerating when I say my boobs are completely flat pancakes and have zero lift. I currently wear a C-D cup depending on the bra. Help please!! 😭

Your seamstress should to be able to add push-up cups, which are thicker and have a bit of a padded ledge underneath to make boobs look great!

Talk to your seamstress! This is literally what you’re paying for—alterations and their expertise! There’s nothing they haven’t seen!

Also, congratulations on your amazing weight loss! That is an incredible feat!

I'm taking my favorite push up bra and cutting off the back where it shows. My seamstress is sewing it into the dress to fit perfectly and hold the girls in place. It's a bit more support over just cups with an added under wire and half the band. My weight loss journey isn't nearly as drastic as yours (40lbs down) - you go girl! But I do notice I'm a bit saggy without the proper undergarments.

Talk to your seamstress but cups often work only for B and smaller. If you are C or larger you need support they won't provide. Ask the seamstress about boning which will be more effective for larger sizes.

Not a bad idea but the top of the dress is pretty sheer in some spots so I’m not sure if that would work or not :/

You can do a nude bra that's close to your skin tone and I don't think anyone would notice or a white/ivory bra and pretend it's part of the dress.

I would just have the seamstress add cups and make sure the dress is well fitted.

My dress is low front, low back, and I have C cup boobs, so I am opting for boob tape. I tested a patch of it on my skin (wore it for an entire day on my underboob and did a workout in it to make sure I wore it while hot and sweaty) and had no issues removing it, even though I have fairly sensitive and very fair skin. Have you tried boob tape before or just heard bad things? Some adhesives are worse than others.

I’ve tried boob tape before and I hate it!! I have flat saggy boobs which makes it very hard to apply correctly!
