Cups or push up?

So this is my dress (got it for $650, score!) and I’m debating on whether or not to get cups sewn in or wear the lift pasties. I have smaller breasts so I don’t really need the support however there’s kind of a excess of fabric which is very minor in the breast area when I don’t have on a bra. The back is complete see through so a strapless is out of the question and I’m worried you’ll be able to see the built in bra. Should I have cups sewn in or wear pasties? Cups or push up? 1

If your seamstress is able to take in the bust you shouldn’t have that issue. If not I’d sew in cups.

I am planing to take out the cups from my dress and use nipple covers instead. Let’s see what the seamstress say about it.

I suggest cups instead of bra. Bra are so tricky on most open back wedding dresses.

Pretty dress! My dress has a high neck and open back. I have a small bust so that area wasn't flattering. My seamstress ended up having to take the bust in a few inches and will be sewing in cups to help me fill in that area a little more. My original plan was to wear a sticky bra but after seeing how the cups looked in my dress at my 1st fitting, I'm happy I went that route. One less thing to worry about on my wedding day, now next year due to Corona.

I’d do both, actually. I had an open, low cut back to my dress and the cups didn’t really do much of anything because there was no tension like you have with a bra. A Nubra though can be placed to perk up and in, for a more flattering fit of a smaller chest into the sewn in cups. But of course this all varies depending on your size, how the dress can be tailored to you and how well the cups work for you. I’d get a Nubra and try it both ways, with just the cups and then doubled up with the Nubra.
