Hello Again -
At my venue we have decided instead of having a plated dessert it will be buffet so that everyone can mingle more quickly. With this being the case I was hoping to do a dummy cake, with the bottom tier real so we can cut it and then give out cupcakes as favors, does this sound wrong? I don't want to spend 600$ on a cake no one will even touch and at least that way they have something to take some with them and can actually enjoy instead of "stuffing their faces" and not even tasting it.
Thoughts?
They'd be really nice cupcakes and wrapped all pretty, not just like here now have fun trying to get it home..
