Cupcake Centerpieces

Spaghetti, on July 23, 2017 at 10:07 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 14

Anyone ever used or been to a wedding with cupcakes as the centerpieces? My friend just brought it up to me as her brother and SIL did that at theirs. She said no one ate the cupcakes before dessert time. What do you all think of the idea?

Sure cute. I have seen them done to resemble a bouquet also.

@mandy I saw that too! I like it but our cake is included with the venue so I'm not sure if they'll do that. We have the option of a tiered cake or cutting cake and cupcakes. I'm expecting we may pay extra for extra cupcakes if we do the centerpieces but I'll ask about the idea in your pic too!

We've done weddings with little cakes as the centerpieces. I think it's adorable.

That being said I'm not a cupcake fan.

I think it's adorable, but I would have a hard time resisting not eating one.

Very unique and cute. Easy access to dessert for everyone. Most people have enough common sense not to touch these until dinner is finished.

Cute and add some real flower petals all around the bottom and bride and groom cupcake picks.

I love this idea! We are having ice cream being catered instead of cake (mostly because I'm gluten intolerant) but I wanted some sort of cake involved for guests and this is a perfect idea!

Would it not make the table look empty once they were eaten?

Super cute! But who cares if they eat them before dinner? Its better than them going to waste!
