cube vase centerpieces

Becca, on April 15, 2012 at 6:10 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

Hey all, I have been on the hunt for the most inexpensive place to buy cube vases. We prefer the 6x6x6 inch to be the right size for our centerpieces, altho the 5inch are looking to be a lot cheaper. I have come to terms that for 20-24 that we need we will probably be spending $100-200. By ordering online, I would almost be paying double for shipping at most online places. Has anyone found any cheaper alternatives or anything? Michaels sells them and I'm thinking over the course of the next year I should be able to collect enough 50% off coupons (6 inch are $17 each...), but was wondering if anyone else has had any luck. thanks in advance!!

Hobby Lobby (if you have them where you are) has glass vases 50% off every other week. I have seen the 6x6x6 and they usually are about 14.00 but 7.00 on sale... worth looking into... check online as well. Also check wholesale flower places or wholesale party places you will be shocked what you can find.

Have you checked DollarTree? I don't remember how large their cube vases were. You can order in bulk online.

Edit to add - DollarTree does free ship to store for most items.

Plus free shipping with Dollar Tree if you ship to the store.

I tried Dollar tree already and they only have 3 inch. I need 5 or 6 inch in order for my centerpieces to work...

I have looked around online all over --- the shipping is whats killing me right now. Almost pay more for shipping than the vases! Guess was just wondering if anyone else had more ideas. I completely forgot about Hobby Lobby, I will check there later this week. Thanks!

Have you checked any local rental companies/decorators. Most of the time it is cheaper and easier to rent than buy.

That's what i was going to suggest! the shop that i'm renting my chairs, candelabras, and accessories from has all different size 'vases' or centerpiece containers. you just rent and return and save money

I don't know if you found what you were looking for, but I went with Wholesale Glass Vases International. Shipping was roughly the price of one case; for me it came out to about $8.80 each; the best price I found online. Good luck!
