So my FOH and I had finally decided to take a Carnival cruise for our honeymoon on Aug. 3!! Any brides here taking an adventure on a cruise? Any tips for first-timers (for my FOH)?

I love cruising! We will be doing a Hawaiian Cruise for the first half of our honeymoon. My advice would be:
-Try one (or more) of the specialty restaurants. Yes, you have to pay, but for what you get it is so worth it.
-If you want spa appointments, make the appointment right when you get on the ship.
-Pack a sweater or jacket, it is cool at night when the ship is moving.
-If you have ever gotten motion sickness, pack Bonine! This brand is non-drowsy. If you have any worry about this, start taking bonine 24 hours before you get on the ship and then the first 24 hours on the ship. This will allow you body to get use to the movement and you shouldn't have any trouble after that.

We're also doing carnival cruise. It will be my second time cruising and his first. We're leaving out of Miami going to the Bahamas.
