I am not sure how cruises and excursions will be anymore due to covid but i've been on two cruises in my life. one was in May to canada and i loved the excursion where i went to the gardens and had afternoon tea there.

i went to another one in May also in a different year to Mexico and didn't do excursions but you can also get off the boat and go into the country on your own.

I’ve cruised with Royal Caribbean to the Bahamas in February and had a fantastic experience! Be careful booking for October because it is hurricane season.

We love cruising! I would absolutely not take a cruise until COVID is over. One person shows symptoms and the whole ship is going to be required to lock down. This is not a good honeymoon idea right now. We cancelled our planned cruise for our honeymoon is September.

I wouldn’t cruise for a while. Just saw on the news 42k cruise employees are still stuck at sea and some with COVID still. Maybe think of flying somewhere and doing day trips? Sorry I hate to be negative, but I don’t want you to get your hopes up and it not be able to happen.

I agree about being really cautious booking a cruise right now. My sister and her husband got stuck on what was supposed to be a 14-day cruise when no country/port would let them dock/disembark (including Honolulu, HI...). A cruise is fun until you are stuck on a ship for more than 30-days (after day 15, it was absolutely bare bones food and service, the ship/crew weren't prepared for having to remain at sea for an additional two weeks). In total, all the delays, crazy airfare charges, and most of all the stress were NOT worth it. (They incurred more than $20,000 of additional expenses in order to get home again, and were quarantined for 2 weeks when they were finally allowed to disembark -- like, locked-down, unable to leave their very small room in the port city. Those costs don't include their lost income for the nearly 5 extra weeks they were unable to get back to work.) And, there was NEVER a single case of Covid-19 associated with their ship.... They've done well over a dozen cruises, and after their experience this year say they will NEVER cruise again. Smiley sad
