Creative ways to share your love story?

Hi! So we are pretty private people but we were trying to think of romantic ideas. We thought that over our treat table we couldn’t have a sign that says “our love is sweet, take a treat” and then clothes-pin some of our hand written love notes (that we have written throughout our 6 year relationship) to string lights — obviously nobody would be able to read them but they say our names and the date on the front!

Daughter and SIL met early in HS and started dating as sophomores. By the time they married, they'd been together for 8 years. Daughter made a really sweet photo book on Shutterfly with pictures that charted their relationship. The first photo was from their first date (they just happened to take one) and I believe the last one was when they picked up their marriage license a few weeks before the wedding.... The title on the cover was, "Our Story." The book was on the welcome table and was later moved to a table in the reception space. I think people looked through it.

I saw heart maps on Etsy. There are three. One for when you met, one for where you were engaged, and one for where you are getting married. It’s on a pretty board.

We’re building a backdrop for our cake table that would include snippits of our love story including how we met and my promise ring framed.

This isn't really creative, but we're planning on our officiant telling the guests our love story during the ceremony! I love hearing that kind of stuff at people's weddings

Wow, I really love that idea, Cher!!

We are putting up some pictures. Trailing from us as babies to us meeting and our relationship. I think it'll be a really cute way to incorporate our past!

I like the idea of the officiant telling the story and/or telling it in our vows.
