Creative ideas for a 27 year old flower girl

Keri, on January 24, 2020 at 7:13 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 17
I know this is unconventional, but I have a 27 year old flower girl. I don’t want her throwing pedals obviously, but I’m kinda stumped on what to have her carry. And my ring bearer is 21. I’m not looking to offend anyone, I’m just looking for suggestions on what other people think. So if any of you have ideas would you please let me know. Thank you!

I have seen an adult ring bearer with a sign around him saying "Don't worry ladies, I'm single". 😂.
I haven't seen anything about flower girls though.

Maybe have her honor a loved one(s). By a photograph or some type of signage indicating that they are remembered.

My sister was just a flower girl and she’s 25! She loved it and so did everyone else! I believe that she did literally throw flower petals though so I’m
    Not sure how to help

I love it (and love unconventional wedding ideas). Maybe the flower “girl” can hold a pomander flower ball. It’s not petals and it’s different from a standard bouquet and would allow her to stand out in her role.

As for the ring bearer (if it’s not too out of the box for you) he could be more of a ring security agent. I’ve seen an adult male do it, but couldn’t find pics. It’s a fun way to carry the rings. Creative ideas for a 27 year old flower girl 3

I think pomander balls (made of flowers) are lovely.

Hey! No worries! I read some forum from 2012 and these women tore this bride apart for having a 17 year old! Lol But I appreciate you letting me know what you did!

My flower girls are our grandmothers and they will be tossing fall leaves. They aren’t going to toss them in the style a five year old would, obviously, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them tossing petals.

A ring of flowers sort of wreath like I’ve seen people carry. She could also carry a unity candle. Not sure I’d call her a flower girl but perhaps flower maiden?

Why don’t you ask them what they’d prefer? If they have agreed to these positions, I bet they have some ideas! But there’s definitely a lot of flexibility with what they can do since they’re not little kids. Have fun with it!

We don't have a flower girl so we have a little boy standing in and he's going to be our "bubble boy", blasting bubbles down the aisle with a bubble gun. Maybe she can blow bubbles, or toss confetti (we had first thought of this and were going to call him the Confetti Kid). Someone gave me a great idea here once to use a hole puncher to punch out leaves, making the confetti biodegradable, and not litter, while serving a functional purpose.

Our ring bearer is really tiny so we've lovingly nicknamed him the "ring bear" and he's carrying the rings down tied to a teddy bear's neck with a ribbon. We figured he'd hold onto a teddy bear for a few minutes, and this way the rings wouldn't get lost.

Sorry I don't have any practical solutions for the ring bear, but I love that idea of Ring Security and the little briefcase!

We aren’t having a bridal party. But if we were, that would be my ring bearer outfit, for sure.

We aren’t having any bridesmaids or groomsmen but are having two adult men as our “flower girls”. We wanted to include them because they are both super special to us and quite quirky. They will be tossing metallic confetti.
