Creating Programs...does the order matter?

Hello everyone!

I would appreciate any help I can get at this point LOL. I was creating my wedding programs and I was going to begin typing in the names of the bridesmaids and the groomsmen. Does the order of typing out the names on the program have to match the order that they are walking in/down the aisle? Please let me know what your thoughts are or if there is a 'right' way or a 'wrong' way to type the order of the programs in regards to bridesmaids and groomsmen names.

Putting them in the processional order would probably make the most sense.

I prefer that they be in order.
MOH
1st bridesmaid
2nd bridesmaid
3rd bridesmaid
(I'm talking order from the bride, not ranking)
That way I can tell who is who if I dont know everyone.

Yeah, if I was following along with the program, I'd probably assume if was in processional order.

Processional order would be best, that way if there's guests there that don't know them they can at least put a name to their face.

I put them in the order they walked in but to be really honest I don't think it'll matter bcus you may end up changing it. I almost changed it since my moh said she felt sick and so if I had changed her to the end where she can slip out and cough and whatever and come back, it was easier. Luckily she was fine.

Like PPs said, processional order. If you aren't sure yet, or think that may change, I'd use alphabetical. That's what I'm using for my flower girls.

I would put it in processional order because when your peeps are waking down the isle guests may use the program to figure out who is who. “Oh that’s the first couple so that must be Jon Doe and Sally Joe”. Just my thoughts! That’s what I’ll be doing.
