Crazy family members ?!?!?!

At marriage counseling the minister asked if we have any crazy family members that may make a scene. He wanted to know so he could put them in check if need be. Anyone worried about a family member doing something weird at the wedding? I hadn't thought of this lol

Yep. My fiancee's family is all Bat.Shit.Crazy!

My future MIL is threatening not to come because we've decided to not have kids at the wedding. She says (and I quote) "If K and R (her grands) aren't invited, then I won't come either. The thing is, they just so happen to NOT BE HER CHILDREN! Both my fiance's brother and sister-in-law are involved with the wedding and are going to be so busy that they won't even know where there kids are. My fiance's sister will complain about there being no alcohol and his brother will try to get drunk in the bushes with the other groomsmen. The future MIL has screamed at my fiance about the no kids thing and has then burst into tears because "What will everyone think" AND "if you don't invite these kids, then the parents won't be able to come!"

She wants us to invite 35 children to our wedding...when the venue hold only 200 people. We're well over that amount with the guest list. Oi vey! Be thankful for a good family if you have one! Smiley smile

Oh my gosh! My entire family is nuts!! Not crazy enough to do anything during the ceremony but I would be surprised if the reception doesn't have a least one drama. Then again, when you put 300 people in a room, you kind of have to expect it haha. I've already told people that if drama happens and it does not concern my FH or I, then I refuse to be involved and will make them leave =)

My father and FH's father. My father is schizophrenic, bipolar, and has depression. He is on serious medication and we also think he is on drugs. He hasn't been a part of my life for 5+ years and he talks to my mom more than me. The last time she talked to him, he didn't have many nice things to say about me, so I'm worried about what might come out of his mouth, if he even shows up. He comes up with crazy stories and lies that don't even make sense. FH's father is an alcoholic, so I'm sure he will make an ass of himself at the reception.
