Covid restrictions being lifted/ guest count

So my state everything is pretty much lifted. In February, I was limited to 50 people until June I was limited to 150. Now I can invite all 240 people. I’m lucky enough that I knew restrictions were being lifted prior to sending my invites. I am happy to say I will have 201 guests.

Thankfully we’ve had the same guest count (70) from the start. So no one ever had to be cut. But, the lifted restrictions did allow for us to now have our cocktail style reception. Previously guests had to be at assigned tables and we didn’t want a traditional sit down reception. So I’m happy about that!

I never really cut my list, I always had faith that everything would work out by my date.

View Quoted Comment Same! We were so lucky the restrictions lifted before we sent invitations. We sent Save the Dates only to a small amount of friends and family, but were able to send actual invites to everyone we would have wanted to invite.

We decided that when things opened up that we would just stick with our covid plans.
