We postponed ours for a year and it will now be a 1 year anniversary celebration.

We also postponed the big reception a year and plan a one year anniversary celebration instead. If we are allowed small gatherings, right now my state only allows five people total, we plan to do a small dinner and game night with the 10 people we hope to have at the ceremony.

Hey! We aren't having dancing (mainly because I don't like it) we are socially distancing tables, our guest count has been reduced from 120 to 75 people, favors are now masks and hand sanitizer handed at the door with a spritz of sanitizer as they walk in, we have a server for our buffet and mocktail bar, masks (while not required in my state) will be required for the event because 95% of guests are from out of state and my state is a hotspot for COVID. We also will be limiting close physical contact to those inside their family units and no front hugs, handshakes or kisses will be allowed from outside those units. (ie I can't shake my moms best friends hand since I don't live with her, but I can hug my brothers or bridesmaids since they will be staying with me through that week.) I hope this helps! Stay safe and follow the official guidelines as much as possible.

We are having a fully outdoor wedding with 50 guests. We are trying our bests to only keep the same household to a table and we are limiting it to 5 guest at a table that can seat 10. We will have hand sanitizer at every station and/or high traffic area. We will have masks for each guest if they would like to wear them. All but 5 of our guest are local and around each other and us often.

Hi Cassie! It totally depends on your area's restrictions, but a lot of couples have shared their reception plans in these discussions:

I'm in a wedding next month and here's what she's doing:

    1. providing masks and putting up social distancing signs

    2. not displaying her cake

    3. she nixed her send off idea [originally it was everyone has bubbles and blows them when they kiss i do but i brought up the idea that because of covid... that's not a safe idea]

    4. she has social distancing idea i saw on here that i told her about: https://theamericangenius.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/color-coded-wristbands.jpg
