covid precautions

Valerie, on October 10, 2020 at 9:27 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
I am about to mail out my wedding invitations for our December 2020 wedding. Some of our guests are traveling from out of state and are not aware of the covid precaution requirements. Our city is requiring masks and social distance seating for indoor dining. When I mail my invitations, I want to include a note explaining the requirements as I know this may be a deciding factor for guests accepting or declining. What is a polite, direct way to notify guests of the requirements?

You can stated it at the end of the invitation or if you have a wedding website maybe state that they should follow whichever page in the site for important COVID restrictions.

You could include a "COVID Details" card with the invite, stating the restrictions in place, and also referring guests to your wedding website, where you could also have the restrictions listed there, FAQs, and a link to your city's webpage for COVID restrictions.

Check with your venue. They may already have a formatted insert with the covid guidelines and restrictions.
We got married last month, and our venue provided us with a statement to inlclude with our invitations.
We printed them ourselves to include with the invitations and added a page on our wedding website as well.

I agree, an insert card seems best
