Covid honeymoon

I don’t live in the States so I can’t help re locations, but… I don’t know how travelling to Key West or somewhere else in the States is going to be any safer from a COVID-19 point of view than Mexico. Mexico’s response to the pandemic has been shocking but the US’ response hasn’t been any better.

Not worried about the safety aspect.. the US just recently stipulated negative tests before returning from international travel. Meaning if you are positive, even false positive, you must quarantine in place for 14 days before returning. So now, we are trying to find somewhere domestic to honeymoon. I understand the risks of travel, but would prefer to quarantine at home if necessary.

Are you able to go somewhere else in Florida that might be cheaper like Miami? Or Saint Petersburg beach and then rent a car and drive down to Key West? It’s a bit of a drive from those places, but even somewhere closer might be a lot cheaper than key west ?

I recommend looking into other beaches im Florida and Georgia
