Covid friendly Food

So I would like to do a buffet style for dinner and need covid friendly ideas to make it happen. Also I need to make my hors d’oeuvres Covid friendly as well. Ideas??

    If you want to do a buffet, I’d recommend having servers and a limited amount of people go to the buffet at a time. Same with hors dervs- unless you have servers I’d just go with a plated meal.

    I did little plastic cups I put the ranch dressing at the bottom and then I put the vegetables in the cups so people could just grab them

    I agree. Your caterer should be able to provide you with options. The best option I can think of is to have servers dish out the food and walk around with the hors d’oeuvres.

    We’re catering ourselves because we can’t afford a caterer or servers. This being said, we’re doing as much as we can in individual packages/cups and providing wipes for those that would like to sanitize their items (believe it or not this is like 1/4 the cost per guest that catering is for us). We’re even doing a big dessert table packaged like this.

    Our dinner will be buffet as well. Our venue will have servers and the buffet and guests will go up one table at a time to have their food served to them. We decided against doing hors d'oeuvres to save money, but I don't know if we'd be able to do them with covid anyways.
