covid bride looking to sell dress?

Meaghan, on February 11, 2021 at 10:53 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 5
Hi!
Looking for recommendations/information on selling my never worn (but altered) dress? What sites can I use, and approx how much can I anticipate getting for it?
It’s an off the shoulder, long sleeve lace Stella York. Our wedding was 3/21/2020, but I never wore the dress thinking I’d “save” for our reception which I naively thought would have happened by the summer or our 1 year anniversary. I regret not just wearing the dress when we got married and I’m having serious dreams regret and can’t believe it spent what I did to not wear it. Thanks!

I’ve seen people post them on Poshmark. Unfortunately, you’re going to have to take a big loss. Second hand dresses usually sell for 60% brand new but being altered it will definitely be tougher. Wishing you the best of luck!

You likely won't be able to make all your money back on it, but trying posting it on: Poshmark, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Stillwhite! Set whatever price you'd like, and if it doesn't sell within a few months, consider lowering the price.

If it’s new never worn I’d seek it at an 10-25% discount depending on the demand.

I recommend using poshmark. What size is the dress?
