covid bachelorette party ideas

Mackenzie, on August 2, 2020 at 2:59 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 11
Anyone have any ideas of things to do for a bachelorette party? I’m having a hard time coming up with any ideas since Covid-19 has lots of places shut down.

Maybe think outside the box. Are there things on your bucket list? Or even just staying indoors for a slumber party or at home spa days etc

Where are you and what do you typically like to do?

Someone a few weeks ago was talking about a zoo trip for her bachelorette party. Outside, lots of space, sounded like a heck of a lot of fun.

Are you able to have a get together at someone's house?

We were supposed to go to Nashville in June but COVID ruined that. Instead they rented a hotel and we spend the day visiting different wineries, had a wonderful dinner and just hung out that night. It wasn’t what we envisioned but it was still so fun! So if you drink maybe look into that..everything we did was outdoors and we were a group of 6 so we didn’t have any problems.

Maybe you could rent a cabin in the woods and have a camping weekend trip. You can cook, drink, go hiking, and you won’t have to rely on places being open or worrying about coronavirus

Some suggestions I made to my MOHs were doing some diy pampering- facials, nails, hair; game night- we love cards against humanity and what my family calls “spite and malice” (it’s a card game); going out dinner or cooking a fancy meal together- one of my favorite special occasion restaurants is a fondue place so maybe make our own fondue; painting and wine class- some of our local places are doing take home diy packages that you just pick everything up from their studio and follow their video instructions at home.
My FH initially talked about having a joint bachelor/bachelorette and talked about doing an outdoors paintball course grooms team versus brides team, or going to the archery range. The guys want to go golfing, and that’sa big no thanks from me so they can go do their own thing. What do you like to do? I’m sure you can find something fun.

Im a huge introvert. so COVID friendly options are my favorite anyway LOL! I don't know if my bridesmaids are planning anything but I would love to stay home and have lots of yummy snacks and treats and watch cheesy movies and have lots of ridiculous decor, and just relax and hang out! If I was to do anything outside the house, I would reserve my local roller skating rink and have a family friendly party there before the adult stuff later at home, so I can include my flower girl and the moms. I'm not 21 yet anyway, so bars aren't an option and plus I hate crowds and loud places.

I'm struggling too!!! I don't want to a lot of people (8 people max) but I was taking to my maid of honor and deciding on whether to do a mini trip to Memphis or STL during the winter months because I think its easier to ask folks to request time off. Gahhhh! I told my maid of honor the only big things I wanted to great food and spa. but doing a PJ and watch your favs and play games sounds like a great idea

We stayed at a cabin and did our own wine tasting. Everyone brought 2 types of wines and snacks. We went out to dinner first, and then did the wine tasting at the cabin. It was fun!
