I’m getting married in October and I’m sitting tight for now. We aren’t planning to cancel in any case, if we have to get married at the courthouse or in our apartment then that’s what we’ll do.

My wedding is November 21 and I have no intention of canceling. It is WAY to early to act and I think it’s only worth considering if your wedding is in the next 8 weeks. I think (and hope) that it’ll be cleared up by mid summer. I think if there’s still a pandemic In September I’ll consider postponing, but until then I’m planning as normal.

Nope. We are continuing ahead as scheduled for October 3, 2020. It is way to early to decide. Based upon the statistics of other countries, this should be well on the decline and hopefully over by then!

Thanks Jen, I was in a paint I’m not cancelling at the time but holding off the remaining vendors until the COVID-19 is controlled...a good time to research potential vendors .

My wedding is scheduled for 9/6/20 and my fiancé have talked about postponing the wedding. We are going to talk to our vendors this week and see what their thoughts are. April is the month where we can still cancel our venue and we may end up doing that. We don’t know when this pandemic will be over and if people will want to travel then. Plus I still have a handful of vendors i still need to hire and don’t want to sign any contracts or put any down payments until I know this will all be over. We are thinking of possibly using the wedding money for a down payment for a house and having a smaller wedding ceremony.

That sounds like a solid plan B since we don’t know when this will be over!
