Covid-19: Getting married at Nestldown in Los Gatos, Ca?

Tamar, on July 8, 2020 at 7:15 PM Posted in California Planning 2 4

Are you an affected couple that has been asked to select one of the options set forth by Nestldown due to COVID-19?

We've created an organized, supportive group in solidarity. You can reach out and join by emailing "ndcovid" at gmail.com (email address written due to obfuscation). There is power in numbers.

Please also feel free to DM me for the email address.

Stay safe and healthy!

Thank you for creating this post Tamar. I know that Nestldown has been working to have other threads taken down so that people are not able to coordinate a response to the unfair and illegal treatment so many couples are being subjected to. If you are one of those couples, please make sure you write down this address right away and reach out as soon as you can!

Thank you for this post, Tamar, and for your efforts to share the truth about how Nestldown is treating couples affected by COVID-19. My sister is in a similar position and I am saddened and disturbed by how the venue is trying to profit off of couples during a global pandemic. They are making a really difficult and painful situation so much worse. This is what has lead me to speak up.

If you are part of a couple that was supposed to get married at Nestldown, please do not feel like you have no choice but to take one of the options they have given you. Our hope is that collective action will inspire Nestldown's owners to reconsider and offer couples the ability to reschedule their weddings for free OR refund their deposits so couples can afford to hold their weddings when it is safe. It is never too late to do the right thing.
