My wedding is March 29th and it’s local. My guests are at 135 and so far no one has canceled, and no one is coming by air. We also have honeymoon planned the day after in Cancun Mexico at a resort. I am just so so sad, frustrated and anxious about what will happen with my wedding day. Like what if this gets even worse in the next 3 weeks, and the venue cancels my wedding. We’ve planned this for 13 months and I’m just so discouraged.
What are other brides doing?

I just wanted to give an UPDATE:
We decided to get married just me and him, and our parents, and pastor on March 21st outside at the same place he proposed. I bought a cheap white dress on Amazon!
It was so peaceful and I am happy to be married. Our actual wedding is postponed until July 5th. So fingers crossed we can actually have it! Covid-19 and Wedding 1

I was in the same boat. Exactly in that we were set to marry in May and with so much uncertainty and possibly facing this until maybe June, we decided today to reschedule for August for our wedding. We haven't attempted to reschedule the honeymoon yet, but we'll see about it since originally we were all set for Japan since last year. So I'm mad, sad, frustrated and stressed but I care more about the overall safety of the people we know and love and we're still getting married and we'll still be together and happy together, no matter what so this party is important but at the end of the day, there are more important things in life.

I feel the same way you felt. Our wedding was supposed to be March 21 and our venue (which was also the cater cancelled) our photographer postponed as well. Right now the venue has HOPES of reopening in May...but that’s still even too soon I think to draw a crowd. I’m just “bleh” about it now too. My fiancé is confused cuz he’s like “well everything is already planned so you don’t have to plan all over again” which is true...but it’s not the same. Idk. I picked our date for a reason. And so now to just have to pick a random date is weird. Our courthouse is also closed

    Hey,

We were initially suppose to get married this Sunday, April 26th. However COVID-19, much like you all I was super confused, upset and frustrated. We tied the knot on the deck in our back yard on April 7th. The court house was also closed here so we called the town hall to find out if there was anyway to attain the marriage license. The lady was super nice and understanding and we were able to fill out the checklist and take picture and email them to her. We did everything over the phone and on the day of pick up we stood 6 feet apart for the attestation and wore masks and gloves. The officiant came to our house and used the same precautions there also.
    It was perfect!
I would look into that option if you’re up for it.

We are still having ours, we are paying attention to the max number of people allowed for large gathering and i believe in AUG its 50 but if things get better that might increase.

Oh wow! I’ve been trying to talk my FH into eloping now. But he says since we already have the Venue our new date there’s no point. He’s being so difficult. He says if we elope then we don’t need to have a wedding later on 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️
