What is a reasonable price for a photographer to capture marriage license signing and ceremony photos?? I was quoted $800 seems too much for a wedding that costs less that that

The same amount of work goes into the time devoted and editing after. I think that's a very reasonable rate!

They still have to be there and edit after, so I wouldn't expect it to be cheap. It also depends on your area. Maybe get a few more quotes? I think 800 might be a little high (I paid 1600 for my entire wedding), but not much higher than I would expect

If you're on a weeknight (which it appears that you are) and need a few hours with editing? I would expect 400-500.00. This is what my elopement photographers in NJ charge, and they are all in the **** range for a weekend wedding with 7-9 hours of coverage.

That seems high to me. I was looking into elopement pkgs originally. $500-600 got you the officiant, his/her flowers and a photographer for an hr.

I would get some more quotes. That is really the only way to determine if the price is reasonable for your area.
