Hey y’all!

We are planning a couples wedding shower and I’m looking for out of the box ideas not found on Pinterest! Open to all suggestions. We’re having it at a local restaurant/bar on their top floor, and have decided to invite everyone we want there- not just our small, elopement style wedding guest list. We didn’t have an engagement party so this is our time to celebrate with everyone! 🥰 thanks in advance! I’m excited for my guy to be showered as well.

It’s extremely rude to invite guests to pre-wedding events who aren’t invited to the wedding, even more so to throw a gift giving event for yourself. I would reconsider.

Yes my MOH & mother are throwing this for us. Our extended families and friends are aware of our choice to have a smaller wedding ceremony- more elopement style. This is moreso a time for those who have expressed an interest to join us for drinks. We aren’t registered anywhere, we are not doing a registry period. Our focus is not and never has been on receiving gifts. I’m an active part of planning this event, hence my question and seeking advice from this supportive community. Thanks for your feedback.

Yes! My “planners” have talked about the shoe game and also doing a game of guessing our ages in a collage of photos. 😊 was just seeking outside the box ideas, possibly from experience.
