Couples Website

Victoria, on December 29, 2015 at 7:36 PM Posted in Planning 0 24

Which website or app did y'all use for your couples wedding website? I like the knot.com, not sure if wedding wire has one of their own. I like the idea behind the appy couple site, where guests can upload photos and do much more. What are your ideas?

    I have a knot website but wish I would have used Wedding Wire. From what I have heard on here the wedding wire websites are so much better!

    We used WW for our site. I've been pretty happy with the ease of use and ability to customize certain aspects of the site.

    I used the knot! Was very easy to set up and liked the RSVP and table arrangement piece once you enter your guest list.

    We used squarespace. FH did a bit of custom code, but I can also make tweaks using their wysiwyg editor.

    I used WW because FW's dad and his wife used it for theirs, I knew it was free and had an online RSVP function, and I really didn't want to bother researching the various options.

    @Tashie & Dorian

    Purchase it through somewhere like GoDaddy or 123-Reg

    Both the WW editor and where ever you purchase the domain should have guides on how to use it ("point" it to your wedding website)

    I actually made one on the knot first, but then transferred everything over to a wedding wire website. The knot doesn't let you enlarge pictures when you click on them, which weddingwire does, and it has a lot more features that are user friendly. I suggest looking at a few people's, there was recently a thread about wedding websites where people showed theirs off you can probably find in the search.

    WW. It's easy to use and I customized it enough to my liking without spending too much time on it.

    I used weddingwire's custom template and bought a domain name for like $10. It's lynnanddavid2016.com if you'd like to take a look Smiley smile I found WW way more helpful and user friendly than the Knot

    I also used WW and purchased a domain name. It was a little splurge and I like it because I think its easier to remember. But you can keep it totally free if you'd like and skip the custom domain name.
