Couples Resorts?

Has anyone been to these or are you going for your honeymoon? I had checked with Sandals, then Secrets, and now Couples to try to compare the 3. It seems Secrets is only in Montego Bay and that seems to be more of a party place than Negril. We are looking to be relaxed.

I am currently looking at staying 5 nights in Jamaica. I haven't mentioned it to FH yet because I fear he is going to shut down the idea. He is scared to leave the country with all the mess that happened in the DR this summer. Still, I think it seems to be a great deal and price for all that is included.

With Couples, I am seeing that you can go on a glass bottom boat ride, take a catamaran cruise, take a trip to Margaritaville, and take a trip to a popular sunset bar all included in the price plus all of the other things!

We loved couples. We were at Sans Souchi which was very not a party resort. We never left the resort. Just scuba (free if you're certified), beach, pool, eat, drink and relax. We're going back for our honeymoon.

I stayed at Secrets wild orchid in Montego bay last year with my FH and it was very relaxing. Montego bay is a party city, but secrets is definitely not a party hotel. They do have a breathless hotel next door that has Day pool parties that you have access to at no extra cost that was super fun.

I am going to couples swept away in negril! I have never been but I loved all the things they had to offer for the price! Plus there is a no tipping rule which I like. Everyone gets the same service.

I mentioned it to FH tonight and to my surprise he was actually for it! I'm checking with several travel agents to see if I can get the best price.
