Couples Resort Jamaica Elopement

Hi Nicole! Welcome to the WeddingWire Community! You and your FH will love Jamaica! I would recommend any of the couples resorts; however, Couples Swept Away Negril is absolutely breathtaking! From the stunning beaches to the numerous water activities, tours, amazing food and people, you all will have an awesome time! Secrets in Montego Bay is amazing!

We briefly looked into eloping to the Caribbean but our plans changed. Just an FYI, as we went through this process we learned many of the big name resorts forced you to use their photographers and videographers or choose from a very small set of outside vendors they would allow. If you wanted to bring your own vendor in that wasn’t on an approved list (assuming they even had such a list) you have to pay for a room for 1 night regardless of whether or not they use it and sometimes still an additional fee on top of this. I’d be sure you look into the resort’s policy and know what you’re getting yourself into there if good quality photography is important to you!
