Couples Halloween Costumes

We do. Last year we were Mario and Peach, but we take those to most conventions we go to. This year we are dressing up as Pokémon. We’ve done Castle Crashers. And then Lady Hades and Vacation Deadpool, which have nothing to do with each other. Lol

My husband and I had discussed doing couples costumes previously, but never seriously made plans to do so. Neither of us ever really dressed up for Halloween in the past, so we've never really put forth the effort to make it happen. Maybe one year though! I think it's great that your fiance has been a good sport about it, it looks like fun!!

This is from last year, but we got engaged on Halloween 2021 when I was Cruella and my now fiancé was a Dalmatian. I guess he knew I wouldn’t say no to his puppy dog eyes!

View Quoted Comment When we’ve done groups, it’s been varied. We have had whole groups that stuck to a theme, and we’ve also gotten a group together and each couple did their own thing. Both are fun, but I really loved the single theme for the whole group!

My fiancé HATES dressing up elaborately while I absolutely LOVE it, so we compromise by having him dress more low-key with stuff he already has while I go more all-out.


We were Peaky Blinders last year and next year I’m thinking maybe Anne Boleyn and the executioner (all I’ll have to get him is a hood 😂)
