We have picked out the wedding and reception venues. Site unseen unfortunately, due to covid. We are planning a destination beach wedding in florida. I have the wedding dress, save the dates almost ready to send, and top two picks for photographers.

Hello! Happy to meet other people with our date!


We’ve booked the ceremony (church) & reception sites, but that’s about it. Currently gathering quotes from caterers & will be talking to two photographers this week. We also got engaged without any rings & I later decided I wanted one (haha), so we’re trying to schedule an appointment with a local jeweler. But that’s it! I feel very behind but also like I don’t want to rush, spend a ton of money on deposits, and then second guess my choices or have companies go out of business due to COVID.

I think you’re ahead of me on all the basics—we haven’t settled on a wedding party, & I haven’t even thought about dresses (but I need to at least make a plan soon!). I saw you’re aiming for an inclusive venue, which I think will really help. Once you have that settled, most of the big stuff will be out of the way! We didn’t original anticipate finding our own caterer (although luckily we have a preferred list to work from).
New Orleans sounds awesome. I’ve never been but it’s high on my travel wishlist!

Yes , All-inclusive was a must have for us. Once we have a venue picked the only main things we have to focus on would be color scheme, guest List (the difficult part for me), photographer , and few other little things that we may want to add like a possible band or photo booth.
