October 8th 2022 wedding crew! How’d everyone decide on this day!? We wanted a fall wedding, living up in Maine it’s the peak fall color time, and it is 3 days after my dads birthday and two days before my mom’s birthday

I knew I wanted a fall wedding, it’s my favorite time of the year. I am a teacher, so why not have my wedding in the middle of my fall break. The week before and after I have off. October 8th was perfect for us.

We got engaged June 30th, 2021. We wanted a fall wedding on a Saturday, not too early fall where it still may be hot, & not too late fall where it may be cold. My birthday is October 20th, so I didn't want it too close to then, & my pop who passed away in 2015 , his birthday was October 8th! I also love even numbers, So we thought that was the perfect date!
