Couples getting married on October 28, 2022

Hi Elizabeth, October 28th 22 is my wedding date as well. 🙂 I understand the diy situation all too well. I've been making my centerpieces and I'm going to attempt to make all my bouquets and boutonnieres if I can find some pretty fake flowers. I'd just do a little at a time making things and it should all be done in plenty of time.

Xochlit: 4 years and counting! Heck really I have been planning it since my divorce in 2014! lol I hated almost ALL of my first wedding. I had almost no say in any of it! That is NOT happening now! I have allowed my FH in on everything! Mostly he says whatever I want but I still ask because I would hate for him to look back and feel the same way I always felt!

Hey Kayla, I love Micheals flowers but not a fan of their prices. People tell me they have great discounts and coupons but I am not at the time I need to buy them so not sure how great the discount is! Amazing go geter! I love a women who can take control when needed!

One was a promise ring and the other one was just a I love you ring after I got pregnant with our daughter. He finally proposed December of last year!! Totally caught me off guard in front of my whole family. Even incorporated our daughter in the proposal. We live in Clarksville which is a town about an hour outside of Nashville. I try to get his opinion on things but he says whatever I want. We're paying for everything ourselves so I want him to make sure he's as happy with it as I am!!!

I just got engaged on thanksgiving however I am praying I can get a date in October of 2022!! October is definitely the month I want to get married and I definitely don’t want to wait until 2023!!! I am also DIYing my entire wedding!! I have a cricut machine though which is extremely helpful as far as invitations and decor!!! Idk if ur doing a “themed” wedding or not but u can basically make anything u want with one!!! If I can find it on the internet u pretty much can make it!!! I’m having a Victorian wedding and EVERYTHING is so expensive bc it’s old so I’ve been on OfferUp n in Thrift Stores buying whatever I can find that I can revamp to “look” Victorian/vintage!!! I got my machine for $200 brand new in the store however u can find them cheaper in like OfferUp or fb marketplace!!! My friends n family think I’m insane bc I’m stressing out n buying things n don’t even have date yet however I completely agree with u… October will b here before we know it and when ur making stuff, working n whatever else life throws ur way… time flys by… October will b here with a blink of the eye!! I have 2 venues in that I’m choosing between but I’m trying to get threw the holidays first smh!!! Unfortunately I live I Philly however if there’s anything I can help u with I definitely will!!!

Same! We’re getting married that day and my MoH is coming to my city just to help start doing decor because I too am a broke girl with rich girl taste. She’s coming in two weeks so I’m excited for that. It’ll be us the cricket, thrift stores and craft stores for two days straight
