Couples getting married on October 24, 2020 in Missouri

Hey ladies!! So I see we all are getting married on the same date so I was wondering when everyone will start dress shopping? One of my bridesmaids wants me to go look/try on dresses now because she thinks it will help to know what style I like or what ends up looking best on me but what if I fall in love with a dress now and buy it and by the time it comes to get alterations my dress is way too big and sometimes once a dress is too big I feel like alterations don't help or what if my taste changes come time for the wedding so I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this. -Thanks in advance-
