That was the original date we wanted, but our venue is a historical theatre and they do a play every single saturday (actually one of the US's longest running plays EVER!) so there was no way around that haha. had to settle for Friday the 8th!

our invites went out about 2 weeks ago, and everyone is taking FOREVER to start RSVP'ing. I'm a planner and so that is something that drives me insane lol.

I live in Oklahoma so we can't get our marriage license until 10 days or less before the wedding :/ but how exciting for you guys!!!!

Oh the RSVPs. Half of my guest list thinks they’re exempt because I know they’ll be there. No, no I don’t until you tell me! I offered the option to do it online, by email, by phone or by text. HOW HARD IS IT?!?!
our marriage license is good for 60 days here. We didn’t go as soon as we could, but pretty close!

That is EXACTLY what we're dealing with too hahah like yes you're my best friend, or maid of honor, but YOU STILL NEED TO RSVP. it takes 2 seconds these days with wedding websites ,etc. I guess people don't get it until they've been married and know the struggles (then again, one of our close friends who is a guest, was married last year and was complaining at the time how people were not RSVP'ing and they STILL have yet to RSVP. haha)

I had to do the RSVP for my father. He texted me- “I can do it by text? Text. I’m done now right?”

Getting married in December, but wanted to say congratulations!

November 9th here!! At least I'm not the only one with RSVP craziness LOL! My FH probably thinks I'm crazy over this......but how many times do you have to tell people?! "YES! Yes, I want the postage-paid RSVP back." Our RSVP date is next week, so we will see how many we get back. Luckily, I have plenty of time before I actually need to get the headcount to our caterer.

Overall, though, definitely getting excited for everything! Can't believe how fast time has flown by!

No of course not! you are DEF not the only one with RSVP craziness. we all are haha. especially those who are planning there weddings on their own! (*ahem* me!)

and wow you're doing it old school way! i love that idea as i still use snail mail weekly to write letters to my grandmother. but i really enjoy using my wedding website (Zola) to have guests RSVP that way since it is quicker and it organizes if for you to track them easier!

time is also definetly flying by. i dont know how it is already 6 weeks from now. seems like yesterday i was antsy about it being 6 months!
