Couples getting married on November 7, 2020 in Oklahoma

Whitlee, on June 28, 2019 at 4:54 PM Posted in Oklahoma Planning 0 1
Hey Everyone! I have a question. . . I want to know a nice way to let my guests know that there are no children allowed at my wedding besides the ones in the wedding (my children, nieces and nephews). Any advice/ideas?

    Hi there Whitlee Smiley smile

According to this WeddingWire article (Kids and Weddings: Etiquette Questions, Answered!), if you want to host a kid-free wedding, the best way to do this is to be clear who you are inviting by using outer and inner envelopes in the invitation. On the inner envelope, exclude the children’s name if they’re not invited. If you don’t think your guests will get the hint with this alone, you could put the names of the guests invited on the RSVP card.

If anyone questions why your children, nieces, and nephews are there, you simply explain that you have a few kids from your immediate family, however, that’s all you can accommodate.

How many kids will be invited to your wedding?
