WOW, I didn't realize Sunday weddings were so popular. Did you all find it difficult to get a church that would marry you on a Sunday?

I'm not getting married on this date, but I am having a Sunday afternoon wedding! It's definitely less common that Saturday weddings, but becoming more popular We aren't having our wedding at a church, but I can see why that could pose a problem. What time are you having your ceremony?

I have it set to start at 2, but am seriously thinking about starting earlier because it gets dark earlier.

I would assume churches aren't busy for weddings as much as they are all the services they hold on Sunday, so they would be busy? Have you looked for ceremonies outside the church?

We're having our ceremony at 3 and the whole thing will be over by 8! I think 2 would be just fine

For Jewish people SUNDAY or WEDNESDAYS are theeeee wedding days. We aren’t allowed to have a wedding on Friday or Saturday, and it’s either Sunday or a weekday, weekdays are cheaper by a LOT. But Sunday is most convenient 🤷🏼‍♀️
