I had to postpone my June 20th wedding so this is my new date. So hello to my new date twins!!! 😊

Hi date twins!
I have all my vendors booked and am now working on small details as I can.
I have to wait until stores open back up to get my dress altered and get my grandmother’s watch cleaned and a new battery for my something old. Plus my FH needs to get his passport done and pick his final groomsman. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m a little nervous about the impact the virus will have but am hopeful that our date is far enough out that we will be okay.

Anyone worried about this date. My venue is all indoor, November in Idaho is rather cold. I am concerned we will still have to follow social distancing rules, which would significantly cut my guest list. Ugh...

View Quoted Comment Honestly, it’s something that’s been weighing on my heart. We are going to be inside as well although November in coastal Virginia isn’t the same as Idaho. 😕
We’re only inviting 60 people (including the wedding party) and if we have to drop to 50 then I guess we will do away with plus ones.

This whole process went from being exciting and fun at the start to nothing but anxiety and concern due to COVID.
But at this stage, we’re waiting until August to make the call. For now, full speed ahead!

View Quoted Comment I’m definitely concerned but am trying to just plan on as normal. We probably won’t reschedule unless we are forced into another lock down But If we did, we wouldn’t make that decision until late summer or early fall anyway. Our guest list is about 120 so if social distance rules are still in place we’ll have to find a way to cut our list, maybe anyone out of state, or at risk health wise and just keep it to our immediate family/ closest friends. The unknown is definitely putting a damper on things but I’m still trying to enjoy the process and remain optimistic!

Slow moving! How about you? Have you heard about the newer possibility of the shutdowns again in the fall?!

Anyone hesitant to send invites to all guests when there is a potential to need to cut down guest list if there is another shut down? How are you handling your invitations with the uncertainty!?

Hi! I'm totally done! Everything was finalized back in August. Just counting down the days!

What a mess this turned into.
One of the groomsmen ghosted FH for a month and then quit via text.
My moh asked at the end of august if the wedding was still happening and when I said yes she texted “cool congratz I’m out” which I thought meant she just wasn’t coming to the wedding. Turns out she full on quit...so my one bridesmaid was scrambling to get things together for the virtual bridal shower which is next week. Which resulted in me paying to print the invitations and games, cut them out, stuff and address the envelopes so that could mailed out last week. 🙄Then carnival canceled the cruise we booked for our honeymoon so we had to come up with another plan for that.
At this point, I’m wondering why we didn’t just elope...49 days to go.
Just small details left to finalize and watching the rsvps trickle in.

Any one else starting to feel the stress. I woke up this morning and found someone in my house broke the cake topper. So many little details still to do and the anxiety is kicking in

Yes I'm starting to feel the stress all over again! I pretty much have everything completed besides songs, vows and schedule. Now I'm stressing about making sure all my guest come healthy and leave my wedding healthy.
