How did you choose your wedding date?

I'm so glad someone started this! I'd so love to hear from everyone else thats getting married November 1, 2020!! The future hubby and I have everything planned just waiting to order the save the dates! What kind of decor is everyone planning to do!?

We just got engaged on 12/1 and we haven’t got much done at all. Christmas really got in the way. We’re doing a pretty small wedding, less than 20 people, so we’re having a hard time choosing a venue.

I am also getting married on November 1, 2020. We are just getting started planning. We have our venue, our dj and our wedding party but still working on all the rest. I am going with navy blue and burgandy. We are getting married at 4 so hopefully it will hit just right for the sunset to begin.

Wow...you've done a lot. I just got engaged January 16th! My mind is definitely spinning trying to figure out this planning stuff. This is my second wedding but my first was much smaller and easier.

Is anyone getting pushback from family about the wedding being Halloween weekend? My sister is upset her kids will miss trick or treating with friends.

View Quoted Comment Really? Trick or treat is every year. How many times are you getting married? I guess I would use tough love and say that if her kids would rather go get free candy, they don't have to come for free dinner and cake. Sorry.

I am super excited with planning my November 1st wedding. We have all the vendors for the wedding just need to get this virus clears out so we start meeting the other vendors to make final plans.. everyone stay safe

Is anyone worried that we'll have to cancel our date because of Covid-19 or is it just me? Seems far out but you never know. Has anyone talked to their vendors about their options?

Had anyone decided on their wedding plans yet.. i sure got my dress. Bridal party been super supportive. Just getting nervous about the COVID19 affecting the date. Crossing fingers and toes. Praying for a miracle!!

Our venue told us they will not be allowing us to postpone our wedding. We have international guests flying in from Europe and almost all of our guests will be traveling from other states. We are leaning towards cancelling because it seems ridiculous to pay so much for a wedding That few people could attend.

Planning is going well because we have a lot of help and I work in the industry as a wedding officiant
