Hey Chelsie, I'm not a May 29th bride, but still a May 2020 bride! I don't think we'll be having a grooms cake, I've never really understood the point of them unless it's just for fun lol. I do think it's a cute idea though Smiley smile

I don’t see the point either and would rather save the money, but my fiancé really wanted it so I picked out his favorite flavors. Not doing any special theme or design, just chocolate with cookies and cream filling and Oreos crushed on top. I’m super excited about it.

Hi! May 30, 2020 bride! We haven't discussed having a groom's cake, but we aren't opposed. Good luck!

    Also a May 30, 2020 bride ❤️
We aren’t doing a grooms cake because we are picking a cake together. I picked out almost everything else so whatever flavor he wants is what we’re going to go for. Groom cakes are cute but from what I’ve seen are more for the grooms who are uninvolved with planning.

We are not doing it. And honestly, I have not seen one ever. But that's still up to you.

Also, im wondering who pays for the grooms cake? is that something the groom pays for or me? My mother and father are paying for my wedding and im wondering if his family pays for his cake?

Groom's cakes are more popular in the South, I think. We live in the South, but we're probably skipping the groom's cake and opting for cookies instead Smiley smile
