Heyyy! I live in the Miami area and will also be doing a diy wedding.

Be careful when your doing a DIY wedding to only do what you can, doing everything DIY means you have a lot of extra "stuff" leftover. For example, the only DIY thing I'm doing for my wedding is making our own bouquets

Hey! I am getting married near Miami (Homestead)

I am not doing a DIY wedding but I am getting all separate vendors instead of an all inclusive package. Feels almost DIY because of the amount of work it is going to be.

Wow! Good for you for booking your venue! We are still searching for one. Started a guest list and started on a few other things too. We're having a church wedding, so we start some couple classes/seminars. I plan to get my wedding dress mid next year and have already started looking for other vendors.
