Couples getting married on March 20, 2022

Any one else finding it a bit difficult to plan this far ahead? We've got our venue, but pricing can change in 2 years, I'm nervous to book other vendors.

I was engaged for 19 months. I booked my venue immediately but booked other vendors when it came closer to the year mark.

I got engaged at 25 months and at 20 months booked my venue. It’s in my contract that the price is locked of 2019 pricing. Most of my vendors are locked as well as the full price is in the contract. I have booked much but I’m now down to 13 months and only have venue, dj, photo booth, planner and decorator. So I have a lot to do still but it’s okay plenty of time still

Wow! Never thought about locked in prices, duh! Might be better to book earlier after all.

The first thing we did was book our venue. We did lock in the pricing but some venue we looked at don't offer that. I would make sure to ask. Good luck!

You're probably good to start looking at other vendors around 15 months out. That's about how far we were when I booked our photographer and DOC. The rest were more like 8-10 months out (6 months out for my hair/makeup).

And yes, ask about price locking for the venue! Ours locked in 2019 prices for our 2020 (now 2021) wedding.
