    I feel the same as you. I too am all over the place. I'm constantly changing my mind about everything. As for now Im having everything done. I have a couple of people in my circle that have amazing talent when it comes to crafting that Im using. My venue is all inclusive which makes it easier.

    I am using an all inclusive venue as well. I am in Buffalo, NY. We do want to add some personal touches with decor and they are fine with that. We also need the cake to come from somewhere else because we are adding steampunk elements. I originally wanted to do it all myself because I do events and catering for other people but I think I want to relax on that day...for once. Smiley xd

    My apologies on not Congratulating you on your Engagement. This is an exciting time in our lives.
    Whew....my brain's been moving faster than I can keep up with.Steampunk is cool! And that's smart of you to choose to relax as you should. You should be pampered and catered to. Its your day. I haven't come up with a theme yet. I dont know maybe it'll just be traditional.
    Our venue is providing everything, even our invitations, except the photographer. QI'm in Los Angeles, California. Its going to be hot that day but the ceremony is in the evening so hopefully it won't be too bad.

    Congratulations... I am finding that the date is available at but the menus aren't. Some places are way too expensive and then have a ton of add ons. Good luck.

    Congrats on your engagement! Yes, I've definitely heard "oh you have plenty of time, contact us next year in August"

    It's disappointing because I'm such a proactive planner that it's hard to wait until 8 months before our wedding.
