JUNE 22/22 BRIDAL TRIBE! Congratulations!
How are we feeling? Where are we with planning?
Why did you choose this date?
I’ll start - My fiancé and I wanted a June wedding because lots of bad things have happened to us in the month of June (family deaths, etc) and we wanted to put in some happy memories to that month. We chose the date because our dating anniversary is on the 22nd.
As far as planning, I’m freaking out! Trying to decide on a venue first then photographer then Save the Dates then bridal party invites then flowers. I think we’re going to go the “all inclusive” route at Barr Mansion here in Austin where we live. What about y’all?

Good morning!!!! Congratulations to you!

Right now, I’m okay. Not too freaked out. So far, we’ve picked our venue and signed that contract. In September, my bridal party and friends are doing bridal wars and are going to pick out dresses for them. We are also thinking of taking a girls trip to Vegas to see Celine Dion in November. My fiancé and I chose this date because 6/22 is literally the very first time he texted me. We went on our first date on 6/29. We’ve been glued at the hip since!

Congratulations! So fun to have wedding day twins!

We chose this date because next year 6/22 is Missummer day! My fiancé and I are both very spiritual and Midsummer Day is the day when ones love is the highest in the universe! We reserved our venue and right now I have NO idea where I am getting catering from. Not a clue. But right now I’m working on bridesmaids dresses.

I chose this date because it's as close to the summer solstice, it's important in our spirituality. We have no caterer, found a venue, still need to find a officiant, as for clothes, I found my dress and I'm making the grooms and my son's clothes.
