Couples getting married on June 18, 2022

Erica, on July 31, 2020 at 7:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
June of 2022 was not the original date my fiance and I had had planned. We were going to be getting married next June, but sadly it didn't work that way. Now I'm just working on keeping the excitement going because we have now been engaged for two years and it was a tough choice to push the wedding. Regardless, its plenty of time to wedding plan and I am still madly in love!💕🥰

We're in the same boat! We were August 2021 and now we're August 2022. I'm still excited regardless. Even more so because more time to plan means we are able to increase our budget and include things we may have left out with our original date.

It sucks to have to wait longer, but there are advantages! Plus it is nice to know that I'm not the only one. Best of luck to you and your SO!

It certainly isn't fun to have to wait that long - we were originally today (July 31, 2020), but now we're July 2022, so we're in the same boat. No matter what, your day will be beautiful! You have more time to plan now and make things as perfect as possible. Best wishes!

Hopefully today wasn't to hard for you. I feel like I will be slightly upset on what was my original date, but I believe there is a reason for everything. Happy planning to you!❤

Today was actually a great day! We planned out a lot of fun things to do with friends, and we supported a lot of our vendors (purchased a cake from our cake baker, visited our rehearsal dinner venue for dinner/drinks, etc), and I put together a gift basket for my fiance with COVID-wedding-themed coffee mugs/wine glasses/etc. It was bittersweet, but definitely more good memories instead of sad. I highly recommend planning something fun for your original date! I also believe that everything happens for a reason. Sorry that everything didn't work out for your original plan, but I know your new date will be beautiful!!

We've waited 34 years to get to this point - so we picked June 18, 2022 so that (fingers crossed) all this COVID crap is behind us to we can have the day we want.
