Hello date twins!

What was the deciding factor in picking this date? & are you doing anything special for the guest that’s holiday theme?
I picked the date solely on the weekday rates it was about 10k cheaper at the venue we booked, and it’s a holiday so most guest will be off that day.
Also I want fireworks, since the venue is beachfront I’m thinking of a magical moment where everyone comes on the balcony and then they start the fireworks..
What are you guys doing?

That sounds awesome! I’m an April bride (4/3/21) - we chose the date because of how the numbers go. My fiancé is a firefighter & does wild land assignments (that’s his passion) during the summer season. He’s gone a lot during the summer & I definitely don’t want to spend our anniversary alone so a summer wedding is out.

I love the way the numbers will go! So cool! & yes, usually we have the summers alone since the kids spend the summers with my mom so we will always be able to travel for our anniversary.

I'm also a July bride, but my wedding isn't until July 2022! We chose end of July because it's halfway between our birthdays, and we end up celebrating that whole week anyway. I love the fireworks idea that you have!! Is there a nearby place already planning on doing fireworks that you'll be able to see for your wedding? Or do you have to organize the fireworks show?

I’ve gotten quotes for the fireworks show, but I may just end up going indoor fireworks (cold sparklers) instead. It’s like 5k for the fireworks for a 2 min show.
