Me!! We got engaged July 31, 2019 (we get to keep our date!) and enjoyed the first 5 months of just basking in it and finally began planning last month. Already have the venue, caterer, DJ, photographer, and videographer booked! Lots of ideas for bridesmaids dresses, grooms suits, invitations, and flowers but none of those are picked out yet. Just happy I got the big ones out of the way! Only a year and a half to go ❤️

Wow! You’ve gotten a lot done! Great job Smiley laugh I know what I want to do, but I can’t submit the permit application until July 31st this year, so I can’t book anything else until I have the date 100%. It’ll be a small affair though, so we don’t need a DJ, and a photographer will only be for about 2-4 hours.

Hi!! We met July 31st, 2016 so that is how we decided! We've booked our venue, photographer, did our engagement pics, DJ, ceremony music, and now looking at florists!

We decided July 31 2021 because my fiancé and our kids (I have one he has two) have the summers off (he’s an instructional paraprofessional). We didn’t want the wedding close to the 4th but we wanted enough to time to go on our honeymoon and be back before school starts again (which is the second to last week of August for teachers).

Hello! I am getting married July 31st, 2021. We wanted our wedding on a Saturday. He proposed August 1st 2019, so in 2021, July 31st is the closest we can get.

I am planning on July 31, 2021! We have our photographer booked, working on the church, and have the date held with a florist and the reception venue.

Well I’m currently still a November 7th bride but we have a soft hold on July 31st. We’re more so leaning towards postponing to July, just waiting for our venue to make us officially have to decide once NY governor comes out with new rules

I am!!! We picked the date because my fiance and I both have kids. He also works in a school so it just makes sense for us to have a summer wedding. We did the 31st because we didn't want it too close to the 4th of July but we also wanted time between our honeymoon and the time he goes back to work (which is a week before kids go back, so for him it'll be the third week in August).

My fiancee and I just picked this date!

I'm a teacher, and she's quite likely going to be a student, so a summer wedding makes the most sense...beyond that, it was a bit arbitrary. I asked July or August, and she said how about late July or early August!

We haven't really planned much of anything yet. We have a venue in mind that we want more information about, but that's about it.

I’m getting married on July 31, 2022! We picked that date because I really wanted a summer wedding. And I felt it was a little before hurricane season so we could honeymoon safely somewhere tropical. Also: fingers crossed that it’s far enough for Covid to be somewhat under control.
