I am lost as well since this is my first time getting married . But just try to find a venue first and they can always recommend other vendors. Here in Miami everything that says bridal or wedding is soooo expensive. Good luck planning ! 😊

Whether or not that comes through lol time will tell! Right now, we have our photographer and date. That's about it lol

Rustic is great and I love it, but having snow up here I gotta shape mine and my FH favorite colors around it lol

I'm also Feb 6, 2021- but mine will be in Vermont!

Already have a bulk of the vendors locked down (and was able to negotiate some "off season" rate reductions and discounts for early deposits) and am looking forward to me and my fiancée's trip up there to try some cakes next weekend!

We're having a "no children allowed" wedding (historic venue- unsafe for kids, also I am just not too keen on having a ton of kids running around since we are creating a pretty elegant atmosphere) So far the response has been "yay a weekend away from the kids!" from our friends with children- but I am waiting for the nasty comments to come in. Is anyone else having a child free wedding?

Same date for us as well. Getting married at the Oaks in Valencia,Ca. Just hoping for good weather. We are getting married in a open space.

Hey 2/6/21 brides!! How are you all doing??

I know we are not in the same boat as the summer/fall brides, but are you starting to feel any anxiety about the date and the possibility of postponing? I am a planner by nature, so I am already starting my Plan B- but what do you all think? Are we gonna be a go?

View Quoted Comment I can’t help but to panic. I’m also a 2/6/21 bride in NY and thankfully I had everything booked before this all got to where it is now. I keep thinking the worst after having to cancel our engagement party but everyone is trying to tell me how much time we have and we “should be fine”. I don’t want to have to post pone 😭

It has been pretty stressful for me. I feel pressure to lock in all my vendors asap because other couples who have to postpone their wedding now want my date. I'm also really anxious to try on dresses at a bridal shop. I was told to order my dress about 8 months in advance instead of the usual 6 months because all shipments from China are delayed. I am also hoping there isn't a second wave of the virus coming back in November. Most vendors are telling me 2 months in advance would be ample time to figure out if I would need to postpone or cancel. I'm making sure all the contracts speak specifically to the virus and postponements/cancellations for safe measure.

Just curious to see who postponed to Feb 6th.
My fiancé and I were originally scheduled for July 25th. Hopefully this new date will bring us all some luck.

So sorry you had to reschedule your big day. I hope that 2/6/21 is all you dream it to be!

We are all praying that we can even have our weddings, even though the date seems so far away when I see so many brides posting about August and October plans.

How is everyone feeling? Anyone on a planning hiatus? (I just started to receive some responses from vendors I reached out to back in March, so I am hoping that's a positive sign)
